Hospital Leadership, Management & Governance

RIYAADA Academy’s Hospital Leadership, Management & Governance programme is designed to help hospital leaders and management teams build the practical skills needed to run stronger, safer and more accountable healthcare institutions. Developed with the Somali healthcare context in mind, the programme brings together leadership, administration, workforce management, quality improvement and financial stewardship in one comprehensive training package.

The programme is organised into six modules covering Hospital Governance, Leadership & Accountability; Hospital Administration & Operational Systems; Human Resource Management & Workforce Performance; Quality Assurance, Patient Safety & Clinical Governance; Infection Prevention & Control, Hygiene & Health Care Waste; and Financial Management, Supply Chain & Performance Monitoring. Rather than focusing only on theory, the training uses cases, simulations, audits, drills and practical exercises that allow participants to work on real hospital challenges and develop useful institutional tools.

The programme also includes assessment and certification, a hospital improvement capstone project and quality assurance measures to help turn learning into meaningful improvements in hospital performance.
