RIYAADA Institute for Leadership & Governance – Institutional Profile 2026

This institutional profile outlines RIYAADA Institute for Leadership & Governance’s mission, leadership approach, academic structure, research activities, and institutional offerings. RIYAADA was founded in Mogadishu in April 2021 as an autonomous academic and professional center dedicated to cultivating principled leadership, good governance, and institutional change.

It describes the framework of the one ecosystem of RIYAADA, linking executive education and professional learning, research and publishing, membership and advisory services. It makes use of the Unified Curriculum 2026 with its other two components to define learning pathways through four Schools, six teaching Themes, and many courses, programmes,s and higher-level certificates. Its Competency-based and problem-driven learning offers participants the tools for Systems thinking, ethical leadership, and evidence-based decision-making.

Additionally, it demonstrates RIYAADA’s research and publishing platform, consultancy services, quality assurance program, governance structures, es and strategic collaborations. The programme seeks to foster leadership through education, research, and institutional advisory and support services, and to enhance organisational effectiveness for inclusive and sustainable development in Somalia and other parts of the world.
