About the Journal

The RIYAADA Journal of Leadership, Governance and Health Systems (RJLGHS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the RIYAADA Institute for Leadership & Governance in Mogadishu, Somalia.

The journal serves as a vital bridge connecting evidence with public action. We provide a platform for original research and critical analysis, with a specific focus on work emerging from underrepresented contexts, reform settings, and complex systems where implementation realities are paramount.

Many complex and fragile settings generate urgent policy lessons that often remain underrepresented in formal scholarly communication. RJLGHS exists to make this work visible, citable, and usable for researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers worldwide.
